INDIAN DIPLOMA IN CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE COURSE (IDCCM)

 

IDCCM is being conducted under the aegis of ISCCM (Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine), Mumbai at Continental Hospitals, Hyderabad.  These courses are not recognized by Medical Council of India.

Duration & Eligibility: The basic qualification s must be from a MCI recognized university.

  1. MD Medicine / Chest / Anaesthesia – 1 year course
  2. DNB Medicine /Chest / Anaesthesia – 1 year course
  3. MS General Surgery / Orthopedics – 1 year course
  4. Diploma in Anaesthesia / Diploma in Chest diseases / Diploma in Orthopedics. – 2 years course
  5. MD Emergency Medicine, if approved by MCI would be eligible for IDCCM henceforth (from July 2013)

After selection trainee must register himself/herself with ISCCM by filling online trainee registration Form with fee of 14,160/- which includes the registration & examination fee for the first attempt.

Once selected, it is mandatory for the candidate to become ISCCM member.
